CHARLES L. HANDLIN
Born December 14, 1946, Phoenix, Arizona. Attended various military academies graduating from St. Joseph's in 1964.
Attended Marshall University. Enlisted in the United States Navy. Served active duty from 1966 through 1968. Honorably discharged 1968.
Graduated from University of South Florida in 1972, with a BS in Engineering. Entered Florida School of Law, Gainesville, Florida in 1973. Received Juris Doctorate (J.D.) in 1976.
Worked for an insurance defense firm through 1980. Went into the general practice of law in 1980. Has practiced law in excess of thirty two (32) years. Handlin & Hefferan have practiced law in the same location, 112 N. Summerlin Ave., Orlando, FL 32801, since 1986.
Licensed to practice law in all Florida State courts and local Federal courts. Is a member of the Florida Bar Association and is a Florida Supreme Court trained mediator.
JOHN R. HEFFERAN
Born October 5, 1943, Orlando, Florida. A fourth generation Floridian whose great, great grandmother was born 1847 in Jacksonville, Florida.
Graduated from Boone High School in 1962. Attended Orlando Junior College. Drafted into the United States Army. Attended Officer's Candidate School. Served active duty from 1966 through 1969. Served in the reserves through 1977 attaining the rank of Captain. Honorably discharged 1977.
Graduated from University of Central Florida in 1971, with a BA in Business. Entered Cumberland School of Law in Birmingham, Alabama in 1973. Received Juris Doctorate (J.D.) in 1976.
Worked as an Assistant State Attorney in Orange County through 1979. Went into the general practice of law in 1980. Has practiced law in excess of thirty two (32) years. Handlin & Hefferan have practiced law in the same location, 112 N. Summerlin Ave., Orlando, FL 32801, since 1986.
Licensed to practice law in all Florida State courts and local Federal courts. Is a member of the Florida Bar Association and is a Florida Supreme Court certified mediator.
